Yes, vinyl overlay does not require an HDB permit because it doesn't alter the structural floor. As a BCA-registered contractor, our work meets HDB's requirements for residential renovations. We provide a renovation work declaration if your MCST or town council asks for one.
In most cases yes, LVT installs cleanly over tile, parquet, or vinyl as long as the existing surface is level and intact. Damien checks during the free site measurement. If there's significant unevenness, we'll recommend a thin self-leveling underlay (priced transparently before we start).
Our LVT is 4mm-5mm total thickness including the 0.5mm wear layer. Most HDB doors clear this without trimming. If a door scrapes, we trim it on-site at no extra cost.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, delamination, and wear-layer failure under normal residential use. It's issued by LN Flooring as the BCA-registered installer, so claims go directly to Kayler or Damien, no third-party brand to chase.
We focus on LVT (vinyl) and don't supply SPC. We can briefly explain the differences when you message us, for HDB overlay in Singapore, LVT is generally the better choice on price, comfort underfoot, and water resistance.
